Harsh Chitale is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of HCL Infosystems Ltd. He is responsible for the overall business strategy and operations of the organisation.
Harsh moved to HCL Infosystems after a successful stint in Honeywell Process Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Honeywell International Inc. where he led the business for the North and South America region. Earlier he was responsible for the Strategy and Global Marketing for Honeywell Process Solutions. At Honeywell, Harsh played a leading role in driving three strategic acquisitions of Honeywell Process Solutions in Europe and Canada.
Harsh brings a wealth of experience as a senior business leader with rich business management experience in both Indian and global companies. He has handled various large System Integration and Lifecycle services businesses.
Before moving to the US in 2006, Harsh was the MD and CEO, Honeywell Automation India Ltd. (HAIL) (erstwhile TATA Honeywell Ltd.) where he was responsible for building the System Integration and Lifecycle Services business in India. Subsequently, he has also served as a Vice Chairman of the board of HAIL for a period of 2 years.
Passionate about technology solutions, Harsh believes that people are the most important part of the transformation process and key to growth and success of any company.
Harsh is a recipient of the Director’s Gold Medal at IIT Delhi, from where he completed his Electrical Engineering and thereafter started his career with TATAs in TATA Administration services (TAS).

J V Ramamurthy began his career as an aeronautical engineer with Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd at the Avionics Design Bureau. On deputation he has enjoyed stints with INAS Integration Organization, MOD and later SAGEM-Cergy Pontoise, France on Flight Test Integration Rigs for DARIN, Jaguar (Display Attack Ranging Enterial Navigation) system.
He joined HCL Infosystems as Regional Customer Engineering Support Manager in 1988 and went on to head the company’s support services. In all his roles at HCL, with his keen insight and farsighted vision, he has re-engineered and redefined the business organization to optimally utilize its core strengths.
J V Ramamurthy holds an engineering degree in Electronics & Communications, from Guindy Engineering College, and a Master’s degree in Applied Electronics from the Madras Institute of Technology, both in Chennai. He has a very warm and down to earth personality. A man of few words, he believes in open door management policy. Fluent in six different languages, he has keen interest in Indian instrumental music, Philately and Numismatics.

Sandeep Kanwar joined HCL Infosystems Ltd in 1988 and in a short span of 8 years progressed to the position of CFO at the young age of 35.
A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Sandeep completed his BA Honours in Economics from Delhi University. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Sandeep is well respected amongst his colleagues and customers for his financial acumen and management skills.

In February 2011, Rothin Bhattacharyya who holds the position of the Chief Strategy Officer, HCL Infosystems was given the responsibility of heading Marketing, Corporate Strategy and Corporate Development. In his broader role, he will be actively involved in strategizing and planning new and innovative approaches to business to achieve corporate objectives.
Prior to joining HCL Infosystems, Rothin has worked with industry leaders like Siemens & KPMG in diverse geographies across the US, Europe and Asia Pacific starting his professional career in 1985. His experience includes running large global multi cultural organizations of 3000+ persons, strategy consulting and investment banking.
Rothin was also a member of the “National Steering Committee on Information Technology” constituted by the Govt. of India to advise Government on the development of IT in India.

- Founding core group member of IDIA (Indian Defense Industries Association)
- Chairman of the CII Committee on Homeland Security.
- Member of the Working Group of the Ministry of IT who will contribute and help formulate the final recommendations of the 12th Five Year Plan for IT/ITeS.

Rothin’s other responsibilities include leading Investor Relations and International business In Africa, SE Asia and emerging geographies.
Rothin has done an advanced Management Program from ISB, Hyderabad. He has done a post graduate Diploma in Management from IMI, Delhi and graduated with Honors in Economics from Hindu College, Delhi University.

With over 26 years of experience in various functions, Vivek is now the Chief Human Resources Officer of the company. Vivek joined HCL Infosystems in 1986 as a trainee engineer. Over the years, Vivek has been an integral part of the growth story of HCL Infosystems. He is credited with innovative HR initiatives that have made HCL among the best companies to work for year after year.
Vivek gained intricate knowledge of the business as he held various positions including Area Manager and Regional Manager out of Bangalore in System Support and Sales functions. From 1995 to 2001, Vivek was a part of the successful Strategic Initiatives Group (SIG) of the company that tracked and hunted down new business opportunities. Parallely Vivek was also involved in HR roles and functions for his excellent acumen for managing employees and their needs. Vivek was instrumental in successfully setting up the training and development centre in Hyderabad in 1995 within a very short deadline. His appointment as the Chief HRO was a natural progression when he took over the function in 2002.
Vivek initiated various innovative HR practices such as hiring a complete batch of non IT executives to bring in a fresh perspective and impetus to the business sales team. He introduced a new model of recruitment whereby HCL Infosystems tied up with state governments like the Government of Punjab. Such an arrangement also generated job opportunities for talented individuals from small towns. Vivek was also instrumental in conceptualizing and implementing a new and innovative structured training programme - the four dimensional framework for learning and training HCLites. The innovative programme married organizational needs with individual goals and needs. The programme is based on three strong learning platforms - iLearn - Technical & Domain trainings, iWin – Sales Training Academy and iLead - Leadership Development.
HCL is such a large part of Vivek’s life that his loved ones often say that he was born and brought up at HCL! Vivek is an avid cricket buff who idolizes Sachin Tendulkar. Vivek hails from Belgaum, Karnataka and presently resides in Noida with his wife Amruta, son Prasanna and daughter Gauri.

Chetan Mahajan is the President of HCL Learning Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of HCL Infosystems Ltd.
He has over 20 years of rich experience in the education space and has handled multiple senior management roles across large corporations as well as start-ups across India & the US.
Chetan has been a part of well established organizations such as Tata Interactive Systems, Ogilvy & Mather and The Apollo Group (NASDAQ – APOL). He has also had an entrepreneurial stint with Edutopia Ltd. Prior to joining HCL, he was associated with Everonn Education Ltd.
Chetan holds an MBA degree in Finance from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. Chetan completed his graduation from Calcutta University and holds a Masters degree in Marketing from Punjab University. He has also taught as an online faculty at the University of Phoenix.

Sharad Talwar is the head of HCL Care, with an overall experience of over 24 years with leading companies like Convergys, Dell, GE Capital, and HCL Hewlett Packard. He had previously been associated with HCL for 11 years under various roles. He was pivotal in the launch of brands like HP Vectra, HCL Infiniti, Bean Stalk and HCL Infinet.
Sharad is an ‘out of box thinker’ and very innovative in his management approach. In his previous assignment, Sharad headed IndiaCan, a joint venture between Educomp and Pearson. His academic credentials include a management degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and an engineering degree from IIT Kharagpur.

In his current role, Sutikshan is responsible for driving strategic and operational leadership of HCL Infosystems’ Distribution business and leads the company’s efforts towards becoming a dominant value added distribution partner in India.
He has over 25 years of rich experience in various business functions such as business strategy, sales and marketing, product planning & management and operations. He had worked in various industries including Telecom, Consumer Durables and FMCG. Earlier, Sutikshan had also played a pivotal role in single handedly creating and driving the Nokia distribution business for HCL from 1995 till 2003. Before re-joining HCL in January 2013, he was running his own entrepreneurial venture. Prior to this, he was associated with Samsung Electronics as a Country head for their Mobile Phone division, where he was entrusted with the responsibility of establishing Samsung as a premium aspirational brand in India. He has also worked with leading brands like BPL Sanyo and Dabur, where he began his career in 1989.
He is a graduate in commerce from University of Delhi and holds a master’s degree in Advertising & Public Relations.

He has the responsibility to transform HCL Services Ltd. into a leading services company in the country, through designing and developing innovative solutions and services.
A quintessential leader and an ‘out of the box thinker’ he has held wide ranging portfolios within HCL, in a career spanning over three decades. George has many firsts to his name, he started the Technical Support Group, rolled out NIG Operations, launched HCL DigiSchool brand and also set up the prestigious S4N business of HCL. His speciality in Marketing, Branding and Go-to-Market strategy was well applauded when he signed up marquee partners in the technology arena. During the stint as Head of Product Engineering Group, he had conceptualised the technical roadmap for many HCL products & services. Later as Head of Research & Development he led the product development at the various HCL labs. George is among the few senior leaders who have seamlessly made a transition from handling technical jargons to resolving business idioms.
He joined HCL in 1983 as a Customer Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from REC, Suratkul. A very well traveled man, George is fond of reading and stays in Noida with his family.

An Electronics & Electrical Communication Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, APS joined HCL in 1986. With over 27 years of diversified experience, APS has been instrumental in building and scaling many of HCL’s businesses successfully. He has proven to be a transformational leader and has been instrumental in turning around the businesses that he has spearheaded within HCL in multiple verticals such as Telecom, Manufacturing, BFSI, Defense, Government, Health, Travel Transportation & Logistics and Utility.
