The advent of computers made the working shift from manual to automation. The computer provided the facility to conduct working either in the local language like Hindi or global language like English. When we operate on the computer the work is done in the local language or the global language. This was creating a gap in countries like India where the work on computer was being conducted in English while the majority population works in Hindi or other local language. This's the innovative concept of bilinguality.
In most parts of the world, work occurs in two languages - the local language of the area and the global language. The local language is usually preferred by the majority while the global language is spoken and understood by a selected few in the country. As the world has flattened and a global integrated economy has emerged, English has become the most widely accepted global language, esp for businesses.
It was further observed that people move from one place to another and a person understanding a partiuclar language may move to an area where the same is not understood. For example a person knowing French comes to India and thus, he needs translators to understand the Local Language. Thus, provisions have to be made in the software that the person can choose language of his choice and operate in that language. The system should thus, provide for selection of the language of the choice of the customer, and undertake all jobs mentioned above in the language of the user.
Thus, now there can be three languages - local language of the country, global language of the world and third language of the customer. Thus, making the system trilingual. The individual data is stored in all three languages while the master data is stored in all desired languages.
The concept of bi-lingual software and implementing the same has been done for the first time by Natural Technologies (P) Ltd. Bi-linguality means that there should be provisions in the computer software to enter data in any two languages and generate all views and reports in two languages. This technically means that all storage should be in two languages.
This act of achieving bi-linguality in all forms in a software package has been achieved for the first time and is attributed to the technical capabilities and strengths of the company.
Third language support. i.e. if the client wants to take printouts or work in any other language except what he/she may be using is possible in the package. For example if the client works in English and Hindi and from time to time wants to take printouts of the statements or any other ledgers etc. in a third language like Punjabi, Marathi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telegu etc, and so on, it is possible in this package.
