Case Studies
Mother's Pride
A common Jewish Proverb says "God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mothers". HCL honors the grace, wisdom, and strength of our mothers, on Mother's Day by making it a special day for many elderly people. Volunteer HCLites visit homes such as "UDAVUM KARANGAL", Shanthi Vannam at Thiruverkadu and spend time with the elderly people there. Those who were unable to spare time, contributed through small and large gifts that realized many mails
Guiding Mindia
The Guiding Mindia programme aims to light the path for the underprivileged Little Mindians. Children from the NGO Udayan Care, Kalkaji Basti (slum) etc. visited HCL premises to experience for the first time the insides of a large office building. They presented a thought provoking and well practiced skit that got many cheers from the highly impressed audiences. This fun was followed by some serious discussions and some motivating career guidance talks from the many HCL volunteers. Confident to display their talents and express their views they raised hopes for bright future lying ahead. Our Chairman and CEO Ajai Chowdhry interacted with kids and distributed prizes to the winners of Painting Competition.

Flood Relief
When Kosi floods brought forth suffering of millions in Bihar, HCLites came together to contribute generously. Collection drives were organized in 5 cities in partnership with NGO GOONJ. We collected about cartons of various amenities which were delivered to the local GOONJ office and further delivered to the flood victims by GOONJ volunteers. There were many individual donations of money as well.
